Bought a new Harley Davidson RoadKing with Rinehart Pipes which sound terrific, but LOUD. Put a Sirius Satilite radio on it and tried regular ear plugs, but couldn’t hear the music. Odered a pair of Blockades and they work GREAT! Only problem was finding them. Apparently can only be ordered online.

I like the comfort and the extra volume button BUT they do not get loud enough to hear anything over the small equipment i use.

These earphones are the worst I ever heard. These sound worst than the ones you get fee on an airplane or from the dollar store. These have no bass whatsoever. It seems that the earphones need equalization because it sounds hollow which made my eardrums hurt within an hour. Nothing worked when I tried to adjust the setting on my MP3 player. I have a good MP3 player and with other earphone/earbuds the volume gets very loud, but with these, it doesn’t and still hurts my ears. The only good thing about this product is the attractive packaging.

These are not hi-fi earbugs; audiophiles, look elsewhere. You can get a crappy set of noise cancelling headphones with FAR superior audio for a similar list price; but – if you see them on deep discount, they’re tolerable for kick-around use in a mild to moderately noisy environment. Be safe in your use and only wear these where appropriate, because they will cut out *everything* but the music, at least to a point. They’re decent for things like yardwork, or studying in loud cafeterias/environments, or just hiding out for a while with your face in a book and your head full of sound, ignoring everything.

Also, I might add, be prepared for the HUGE YELLOW TIPS on them and the shock of feeling like these babies are TOUCHING YOUR BRAIN. Seriously, the tips are GIGANTIC. To get them properly seated and get full isolation and proper sound, put them in and push.

    And then, keep pushing.

Push until you swear that if you look in a mirror you’ll see those funky yellow tips swimming behind your eyeballs; push until you start smelling peanut butter that isn’t there and talking in tongues; push until you hear the left channel in your right ear and the right channel in your left; push until you suddenly can’t do math so good anymore; and then, only then, turn on your mp3 player and enjoy your musical lobotomy and total isolation. If your pupils are still equal, round, and reactive to light and accomodation, you’ve probably not got these earbuds seated properly.

I bought a bunch of these as gifts! A+++.
