As the title says, for the price (can currently be had for under $35) this is a very nice knife. If you’re trying to strecth your money for a simple Every Day Carry knife, this will do fine. Love the “Carson Flipper” and “Auto Lawks”, and looks good with black handle and gray blade/frame.. I am usually not much for the serration, but this is small enough that I actually really like it. Love the size of the handle and blade. I had recently purchased the M16-10kz as well and it was a bit too small for my liking. I am glad I got this knife, it is a great knife so far and from what I have read, will be for some time to come yet with CRKT’s durability.
Pros:
Carson Flipper
Auto Lawks (INCREDIBLY SECURE once blade is fixed!!!)
Small Serrations
Adjustable pivot screw to tighten/loosen the swing of blade
Looks sleek
Low profile in pocket with high clip (roughly 5/18th of an inch sticking out of pocket)
Price is amazing
CRKT quality
Cons:
Still unsure how the Zytel handle will hold up
Blade is not the best steel (still very solid)
Thumb studs will not open the knife **on new models** (Co-worker has old model and thumb studs work fine, on mine, they sit below the handle making them near useless)
Even with the listed cons, the price is well worth it for this knife!
(BTW, yes this is near identical review for my M16-10kz, but it is the same knife; save the size, blade shape, and blade color)

Daily carry for a couple years. Flips open easy with a flick of the index finger. It isn’t a super-tech steel that will hold an edge forever, but it sharpens easily. I sometimes look at Benchmades and Spydercos and think about changing yet I always look at this CRKT in my pocket and think “Why mess with a good thing?” And if I lose it I’m only out $35 instead of $100. It’s not the thinnest knife, but it fits in the hand well. Takes apart easily so you can get the pocket lint out of the hinges and such.

Excellent Knife, I have owned more knifes then I can remember and this is the only knife I carry with me daily, I use it everywhere for everything from my work (plumbing & HVAC) to when i’m out hunting, hiking, or kyaking. As of today my CRKT M16-13z has endured over two years of heavy daily use, water, grit, and with little more care then a sharping stone and a little grease on the moving parts.
I highly recommend this knife but take warning CRKT has been a victim of cheaply made rip-offs using thier logo so always buy from a reputable source.
