Great price for a great product. I love how everything locks! Also comes with a nice nylon sheath.

The Wave is great – no wonder it’s the most popular of Leatherman’s lineup. It’s all the basic tools that you need, and has solid, comfortable construction. The pliers are strong, the blades are easy to access while the tool is closed (no opening, grabbing a blade, then closing!) and ALL of the tools lock! I love it.

Lost my old leatherman tool and replaced it with this newer model. The locking feature was a great idea. Don’t go anywhere without it!!

When I bought this multi-tool I was really impressed by the blades. The utility knife and regular blade are both very sharp and large for a multi-tool this compact. In fact, the compactness of this tool might be it’s most impressive feature. Downsides: The lanyard ring is not included in the Wave, it turns out it is either sold separately (where the heck would you buy that?) or comes with the “Charge” model of leatherman. The picture shows a lanyard ring – but it is not included!!! Also, why have the regular and micro bit drivers (which are simply flat head and phillips heads? If you’re going to have a bit driver, you need way more than 4 sizes to make it worthwhile – maybe include a seat of 16 different drivers including hex and torx. The tip of the pliers also does not have a flat-grip space, it starts directly with small textured grip – maybe not a big deal, but I noticed it. On the plus side – The scissors are probably the best I have seen for a multi-tool :: both sharp and comfortable to use.
