Have you ever finished a cut on your table saw and then had to figure out which piece is going to cause the least amount of damage when you let go of it to turn off the saw? This switch worked out so well I ordered two more. I have one on the router table and two on the table saw. I positioned them so that no matter where I stand I can hit one with my knee.

Bought two of these for tools in my shop and love them. Can now “bump off” the table saw and the router table with hip or thigh while hands are occupied with workpiece. Buy it and you won’t regret it.

Rockler Safety Power Tool Switch Excellent product. I like the ease with which the tool can be turned off. It would be nice if was a magnetic switch so that the tool could not come back on if the power goes off and you forget to turn the tool off.

I have to say that this is a great product.The switch is really well made and mounted to my table saw with just four (4) screws and a peice of flat bar.With the plug on the outlet of the switch I will be able to use the same switch with my router that was added to the table saw .Just unplug one and plug the other in and your off.I really like the over size paddle on the front of the switch.Makes it very easy to turn the power tool off.Just the up grade I was looking for.

Used this switch on my JessEm router table. This was a much better option than reaching under the table to turn the router on for each use, plus it added a nice safety feature of providing instant access to control the router. The switch is very heavy duty and much larger than expected. But it mounted well to my router table and works very well. JessEm should include something like this in their standard router table package.
